Those are the words that were said from my heart
Now look at me sitting here all alone
Not having a place to call my own
So like a stray dog I continue to roam
Waiting to see who will invite me in their home
Times are hard who can I turn to
I’m left here not knowing what to do
No one to call when I need some advice
The treatment I get is as cold as ice
I’m tired of living in these sad ways
Wondering when will the time come that I will see better days
At times I feel like a mouse trapped in a maze
So many ways to go I’m stuck here in a daze
For I’ve been through this situation time and time again
I’m so frustrated I just want my life to end
In and out backwards and forwards that’s the story of my life
Wondering why God keeps me at bat after my third strike
Will I ever find another woman to make her my wife
Or will I constantly be teased hearing the word sike

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
