Array ( [sid] => 143488 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Uncommon Sense [time] => 2008-06-25 05:39:35 [hometext] => Im really not trying to say you should commit suicide, but at times when you contemplate it, you feel compelled by the thought/purpose(s) of it, so I wrote this piece. Maybe you can relate... [bodytext] => Most of us now have lost common sense
that we fail to distinguish the difference
between what is good and what is bad
for I witness these trends I cannot understand

as we fornicate, murder our unborn child,
and carry on with out lives without denial,

marry each other, make babies together,
file for divorce, and turn our kids into bastards,

cheat on our boring husbands or wives
to reinvigorate our sexual lives,

habitually smoke, drink, and inject
until our sick bodies become carcasses,

keep biting and chewing and munching
to form a new race of obesity,

invest in irrational decisions
and spend many years in prison,

search the internet as child predators,
conduct corruption as U.S. senators,

kill many innocent lives abroad
because we believe it is the will of God,

and say, “The unexamined life is not worth living,”
but we commit suicide because once we examine,
we discover that this life is not worth living.
