Moon... not bright

Shiver
Curl up round the fire

Crackle

Stare into transparent depths
An abyss of formless
Shifting
Flames
Pit of primeval longing

Unfathomable
Beautiful
Visceral

Past brought presciently to the present
Reminder of masks shod
Daily lives worn away
Before this

Darkness

Darkness within light
Darkness within life

Light
Life
Fire
Flames
Provider
Reminder
Of beasts
Of pasts

Base and Basic
Instinct and Intuition
The dark within and without

Emotive
Spiritual
Something... Else

And

A sheer outpouring of poetic prowess, your amazing piece completly captivated me. dragging me into its limbo like depths and tossing me out of the flames exhilerated. you have captured a special moment, staring straight into the flames., its drags us into our memories in a kind of trance. your quick and sharp word usage was brilliant.a ll in all a terrific 10 out of10 for me. this is why i read poetry me friend well done"""
