Breaths raise and lower breasts
In a smooth flowing terrain pristine
Where lucent blue shadows
Curving warmly
Quiver in desire.

Memory…
Muscles shudder and collapse
Then shudder
Sweat flowing slipstream rivulets
Glittering and sparkling
‘Neath nearby neon sign
Through windows open
Silent on the breeze
Warm-red then cool blue.

Silence hums its lonely madness
As the breeze is the knight
Easing through the drapes
Steel sword raising goose-bumped flesh
Swooning at its bite.

I lay lonely in the corner
Breathing whispered sobs
In rhythm with the light
Red then blue
Warm then cold
With her laying just two doors down

Wreckless to the window
Sobbing! Breathless!
Opened-armed embrace
Of warm red breaths pulsing
Lonely from the city.

Yet, broken glass cuts
Still jagged in the sill
Turns red warmly in my hand
Pleasure raises wonder but dries
And falls back crying
Sleeping alone once more.

Dream in numbness upon hardwood floors
Of pavement warm and deep
Warm-red then cool-blue
In dampness calling softly
Her lips come near
Hums lonely in a gentle courting breeze
Quivering with desire.

Awake
She knocks…
Words unspoken
Slender side-by-side
Glowing shadows perspire with passion
Warm-red then cool-blue. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 187 [topic] => 48 [informant] => wheels [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

A really beautiful poem, full of sensations, colours, movement and edged with a kind of post modernist lonliness. Is this poem about voyerism? Anyhow I don't know whether I understood every word, perhaps you left it open for the reader to interpret in their way or perhaps i just need to read it a few more times. I definately will.

Favourite line:
Silence hums its lonely madness
(surreal and meaningful..)
