Yet eyes and mouth have become blind and dumb
With a prick to the finger crimson letters begin to flow
With knowledge and wisdom what exactly does this mind know

Pain and regret like a coat that cant be hung at the entry gate
Hanging heavily around the neck, for repentance and remorse it might be too late
For the ashen pages taped upon the wall tell the recent tale
Of attempts at rekindling an ancient feud but time after time seem to fail

Satan and his bride whisper into wounded ear
Hoping that their lies the hardened heart will hear
With a pistol in one hand and a deafening sound ringing in your head
One last thought escapes you as you take your last breath, you’re dead

Rich,
once again the pain and the words are breaking my heart. Please do not do this.

Pain and regret like a coat that cant be hung at the entry gate........ I feel the same way right now.

Hugs
Michelle

Yet again your writing amazes me. Simple, definate words that ring loud and clear. Welcome to my yard, where you MUST hang your coat at the gate, We are all equal here.

Your Friend,
Deadwriter
