as they hunt
the prey of past days
by the smell
of the bloody lacerations
carved into my flesh.

A bell chimes faintly away from curious eyes.

The glowing eyes shut
leaving blinding darkness
that engulfs all paths
pushing my limits
and throwing me into denial.

A bell chimes faintly away from curious eyes.

The black hound creeps
from behind
only to set me
into panic
and to throw disbelieve in all directions,
the hound attacks.

A bell chimes faintly away from curious eyes.

The black hound pounces
biting my arm
with eternal hold
and endless will,
the glowing eyes meet mine.

A bell chimes faintly away from curious eyes.

Wounding pains
lies deep within glowing eyes
which feast
and devour
on such souls ignorance
with no remorse.

A bell chimes faintly away from curious eyes.

The black hound relived
of eternal hold
thus
mutating my mind
and being;
giving rise to my consciousness [comments] => 2 [counter] => 210 [topic] => 62 [informant] => HellRaiser [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => spiritual )

Glowing eyes give me chills and the dark hound ooooo makes me shiver. I agree I was taken aback and all wrapped up in it.
