[hometext] => For Bhonsle Sir on his 1st Death Anniversary
[bodytext] => It’s been a year since you left mother earth, you no longer reside in a house, you reside in the heavens far away from mother earth. From there you see me fall, at every obstacle I fall. My heart cries out for help, I still yarn to see your hand held out for help. That’s when I realize there isn’t going to be a hand that will help me stand, there is so much that is left unsaid, tears drench my cheeks as I struggle to stand. There are days when I speak your words, the happy and the ones full of faith, without you I feel shaken and seem to lose my faith. You promised you will be there, but you aren’t there in person with me. There are days when I visit you grave, place flowers and for a few minutes I can sense you been close to me. I want to hug you and say, ”Why did you leave me? Life isn’t the same without you.” I tread along waiting for a signal from you that say’s “ I am still around right here with you” Seasons change, yet what I feel remains constant, even the rains can’t wash away my feelings for you, they are constant. Is this how it was meant to be? I fail to understand God’s plan. If it was not meant to be like this, then how was it meant to be? I seek answers that can quench my soul, all I get is droplets from this vast humanity that can’t quench my soul. Till the last breath I am allowed, I would say, ”Life isn’t the same without you.” [comments] => 0 [counter] => 150 [topic] => 55 [informant] => bhavik [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )
