Array ( [sid] => 143105 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Rescue [time] => 2008-06-10 06:39:30 [hometext] => I found someone who changed my world, this poem is about the one secret I had yet to tell that special person. [bodytext] => Throat closing, chest heaving
Panic and paranoid
Losing all feeling
As i think of telling you
I can't bring myself to
Utter the words of truth
That could change your view
And leave me without you.

My world is so small
But I want you there
I would give it all
Just to show I care

I never meant to hurt anyone
I cant be alone anymore
I just wanted to feel some fun
I've never felt this way before
Your smile breaks my heart
Your eyes could steal my soul
Though we're miles apart
I don't feel so alone...

My lies were never intended
To disguise who i am
I lied to myself, pretended
But I can't call myself a man
If I continue to lie to you.
You deserve more than that
You deserve more than i can do
But I'm selfish and ask...
That you give me a second chance
To give you everything
I want to hold your hands
And dance with you in the rain

I want to be there for you
Rescue you from your life
Show you what I can do
Because I'll do anything for you. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 225 [topic] => 48 [informant] => Thirten [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

"Your eyes could steal my soul" What a beautiful line. Agreed, It has nice flow and it's always good to tell someone how you feel. Even if it does no good, you still get it out......Mike
