and only pain she seems to see and sigh
She lays on the bed with wide open eyes
that stare at the misery that stares back alive

This misery is stuck like a splinter of wood
and so sharp and thin it digs and hurts
It collects in its place and does not move
and her tears are felt even by the stars

Her hope like the moon eaten by the clouds
begins to fade and its sweet scene delays
The colour of her eyes grows to a cold grey
And this misery stuck stubbornly remains

Nothing to do now but close her eyes and sleep
and for time and dreams to dissolve the beam
To awake and smell in a new day a day
with no sign or detail of misery to see

For all seems and seems to be in this night that bleeds
But may sweet sleep whisper this dream away.

It is a beautiful piece...but is full of saddness and pain..which you convey brilliantly with your words...good job

I felt each tender moment. Written with the pen of an artist.
