Locket on my heart
Seals it so
Living, breathing, beating
But it’s locked up
Can’t run around like a cheetah
Has to stand still like a line
Wishing it could move like a ray
Once in a time
It was open
He opened it up
Carried it in his heart
Or at lest I though so
One day, he throw it away
Across his shoulder
Into the lake
Rides to the sea
Flows to the ocean
And swam away
From me
Forever it was
Sealed shut
Afraid, unwanted
Never to be
Unlocked
