As the light of God stares me down,
the guilty conscience, the scrambled mind.
No words or thoughts seem to appear,
only a feeling of ecstasy seems near.
Oh, what have I done?
the fall from a mountain,
the lonely spirit crashed.
While the blue bird sang a beautiful song,
but man didn't let it sing for long
and the universe deemed it as wrong.
And if the golden clock could be pushed back,
I would tell myself, don't wait,
because although one man can't push a mountain,
and one man can't move a sea,
The spirit of that one MAN, can climb that mountain,
and swim through that sea.
But unless he perseveres,
the universe will never let him be.
