Indentured servitude until the end
Self-inflicted loneliness and martyrdom is what this slavery has made me endure
Allowing visions of the future to be left unpure
Never serenity only angst
My pain acts as if its omnipotent and for the life of me it never ends
Paralyzed yet shaking while I try to say the words which express
Express all that I want with no need to digress
I've weathered the blows
I will save me now
Not stay down
To arise is my goal
To stand strong in the face of doubt
That is the honor for which I have lived
For I will not die until this is carried out [comments] => 2 [counter] => 171 [topic] => 21 [informant] => roddy [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

You touched all emotions in this write. The ending being strong and moving forward. What else can we do right?? It is ok to get blown down by the wind but we must find that inner fire to sustain the blow and get ourselves up brush off and move forward with a mighty roar........ Least wise it is worth the try right?

Loved the poem Roddy!

March on!

Hugs

Michelle
