Born from two pieces of a broken heart
Under two different skies
Yet they dance under the same sun
Streaming into each other
Gracefully becoming one
The representation of love and pain
In a suddel shade of rain
One drop once two
A piece of me
A piece of you
Once divided
Now reunited
One drop
Leaving one stream
Carrying one dream
A tiny ocean of emotion
Crystal clear devotion
Your face reflecting from inside
The single most important tear that I've ever cried
Liquid poetry in freeform
One drop
Carrying the force of an emotional storm
A steady crawl
A slow fall
Leaving a path you can trace
Spelling out your name across my face
Coming to a rest gently against my chest
Watering the memories of you that I hold inside
I can remember the day this tear was cried
You had left me, turned, and walked away
I was speechless with pain
With a thousand emotions I couldn't explain
I cried a lifetime of love...
With only this single teardrop to remain.

This is very uniquely written. It can be interpreted so many different ways....so interesting.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
