So many nights I have witnessed your beauty
You are the only one left in the end
When I’m with you I’m free
As parting clouds reveal you unto me
We begin a slow dance
Ebbing and flowing like waves upon the sea
With all of them I never had a chance
My heart flies to you
Carried upon a zephyr
In this world those I trust are few
You are my only cure
And as I lay bare my heart
You dip behind the clouds once more
Concealing my secret fears as you’ve done from the start
I cannot say what the future holds in store
I am lost in your luminous glow
From me all hope they stole
And you alone know my secret sorrow
In the depths of my soul
