Array ( [sid] => 142545 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Silently I'm Suffering [time] => 2008-05-21 11:03:38 [hometext] => A poem about falling for a friend and of being unsure as to what to do once your feelings are known but not reciprocated. [bodytext] => I’m sitting at my desk
With dull unseeing eyes
Silently I’m suffering
Will no one hear my cries?

My exterior is porcelain
No one else can see
That deep within my soul
There’s a mess inside of me

Constantly they’re battling
The head against the heart
Confusion always reigns supreme
I don’t know where to start

Questions….never-ending
A stomach tied in knots
Emotions always uncontrolled
I can’t escape my thoughts

Hold him close or let him go?
No answer will succeed
For one will only cause me pain
And the other makes him bleed

Beautiful. You have captured the essence of unrequited love, hidden, yet overwhelming. I hope the story ends in happiness.
