Here you are feeling unwanted and unloved.
Cutting is your only release..
You hate your life and everything it stands for.
You say your parents don’t understand you and hate you
For the person you are.
God alone knows I wish I had a daughter over whom I could fuss
and upon whom I could shower my love.
I wish people would understand that life cannot be taken for granted.

I lost a child many years ago… and today he/she would have been your age..
I’d give anything today to have that child with me.
I wouldn’t have cared if that child was handicapped in any way.
I wouldn’t care about the sexuality of that child….
I would have loved him/her unconditionally…

After many, many years I learned to accept the fact that I didn’t have that child.
I began to enjoy the other children around me.
Recently my sister was pregnant
And once again I took life for granted…
I bonded with this child for nine months,
Made all sorts of plans,
And what happened??
He was still-born.
It wasn’t to be…..again..

Once more, I feel cheated and devastated
And once more I begin to wonder….
Where is the justice!!!
Your Mother should be happy to have you and be proud of you.
She should cherish the time she has with you.
The irony of life….
While some are left wishing for someone to love
There are those not loving the ones they do have.

THis is heartbreaking and tender write Jen.

Yes it is hard to understand why some can be so heartless to their kids when others do not have any.

How true this is. We must all learn to love and appreciate those in our lives to the fullest extent. Superb write.
