Array ( [sid] => 142494 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Live to see another rainy day [time] => 2008-05-19 14:43:58 [hometext] => this is a piece i came up with while feeling rather down and i think its very well written. I chose to rhyme throughout the piece and if read correctly should flow pretty well. I was recomended to submit this. [bodytext] => It seems to me, no matter how you see it

Life is tragic, does it have no meanin'?

Why do we exist, if not for love

Ive lost my flock, a lonesome dove

Well its not so unusual cause for quite some time

I managed to fly solo and live off lies

See the stack pile high till it touches the sky

But there is no stairway to heaven

And instead of feeling low, I should reawake I know

And start breathing, but I seek no treatment

I was told, nothing's ever come easy in a world this cold

But to me anything's better than the great unknown

Lately ive been out of luck and down in the dumps

And I cant seem to make it up over the hump

All this time ive been searching for what I don't want

That its too late to go back and start at one

Though there are few things I regret

I repent cause im faced with death

And the reality of it is I really want some rest

An on the spot decision, inflicting pain with my sickness

No I can't do this, what about mom

I know she would die just at the thought of the sight

This aint right, can darkness truly overcome light

Why do I feel this way? Im so afraid it'll never go

So understand this is why I choose, to sacrifice my soul

I cant go on living not being able to hide these feelings

Its very wrong I know, but I know that its never easy

Pleading even shouting, crying out for help

When the answer all along was lying within myself

Would it make me a cowherd to back out of this

I'd be more of a cowherd to commit, if that makes sense

To takes one's own life your only precious gift

Live it to the end, who cares what it meant

It don't matter, im here and wont be here forever

So gotta cherish the present, I'd hate to not to be able

To wake up to a new day, see sunshine or rain

On second thought god, I decide im gonna stay

This was pretty good, your rhymes were pretty good as well as the rhyme scheme. The theme was one I enjoy reading as well. Nice post.
