You are the calm amidst the storm
For You my soul and heart morns
I long for You
And Your open arms
Warm and safe
Your love can do no harm
You are my strength
When the days get long
Times when I feel I can’t go on
I look to You to hold me true
To push on and push forward
With faith in You
I trust in You
To guide my ways
To watch over me
As to You I pray
Deliver me from harm
By Your true grace
With faith in You
I won’t be dismayed
Watch over my family
Be with them I pray
Until I return
And there love I will claim
Walk with me
And show me the way
Carry me through
If the pain gets to great
I give You my life
And I give You my all
Together with You
I shall never fall
You are my peace
In a time of war
A place of shelter
From all the storms
For in Your love I find my rest
To rejuvenate for another test
My life is Yours its in Your hands
I want to live as an honorable man
So guide my steps
By Your heavenly pace
And let my demise
Be by Your true grace

I feel that in times such as these it is faith that pulls us through. It is hard in times such as these to find that faith at times. You are solid here. My thoughts are always with you I hope you know that.
This poem is truly beautiful and it brought tears to my eyes. Do stay in touch when you can and bless you!

This is truly inspiring... I can understand why it brings you peace and calm.... Stay strong and hold on to the belief that you and your family...on both sides....would be kept safe...
