There’s a little girl inside,
Who sometimes needs to be heard.
There’s a little girl inside,
Who wants to soar like a bird..

There’s a little girl inside,
Who just wants to come out.
There’s a little girl inside,
Who wants to scream and shout..

There’s a little girl inside,
Who often needs to be seen.
There’s a little girl inside,
Who prays the world wasn’t so mean.

There’s a little girl inside,
Who wishes to be recognized.
There’s a little girl inside,
Who no longer wants to be disguised.

There’s a little girl inside,
Who wants to feel alive.
There’s a little girl inside,
Who needs some internal drive.

There’s a little girl inside,
Who wants to stay in touch.
With the woman that she is today,
The one she loves so much.

Excellent write Jenni. We all need to keep our inner child connected to our adulthood to keep us young at heart. It allows us to laugh and enjoy life with the excited eyes of a child.

That's why I play in the dirt so much and I get beautifull flowers and veggies in return.
Beautifull write.
