So from this world my soul must leave,
Say goodbye and bid farewell,
Descend upon its lonely hell.

Years have passed and to this day,
I feel the need to get away,
The pain is suffocating me,
And all I want is to be free.

Free from pain, free from hurt,
A chance to crawl from under dirt,
A chance to spread my little wings,
To feel the warmth, that death does bring.

But here I’m trapped forever more,
Just like an apple and it’s rotting core,
Waking each day, but never living,
To my torment, so unforgiving.

Oh why can’t I be laid to rest?
Lord, all my sins I have confessed,
But yet you keep me here, lord why?
When you just watch me all but die?

Take one breath at a time, Pixie... Live one day at a time...
God knows how much you have to live for and how much you have to offer to this world...
Good write though...
Hugs
Jenni
