At the night the next day

I gave the moon a long peace stare

I was very quiet

and going through every moment we spent together

I believed we would finally stay together

although I knew that only time would tell

My heart was hopeful

I was missing you

I couldn't wait to write to you

and I was sure you would write me as soon as you got there

I had bought some pink writing paper

when I opened the paper

the pen sliped out of my fingers

I changed a quill pen in no time

all memory from my mind at once filled my cool room

My momery was not too bad

if my memory served me

we first met in a dark night

Did you remember the first time

you were going out to develop some business with your friends

you came and asked me if I would wait

I smiled and said maybe

I hoped you not to return too late

I still remembered the first time

you followed me to visit my mom

you was as meek as a lamb

to answer my mother in the very old room

The story was so funny

I felt some apprehension over the result

you knew it was a serious matter for my family

how couldn't my mother give you such a examination

I had no other wish

except I believed you were a quite patient person

I could recall how long it had been

I really wanted to write down every little incident in our life

I only just managed to stop myself from my recall

because the tears welled up in my eyes

I didn't want you to know that you drove me crazy

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
