After you returned from your mother's place

you told me you found a beautiful garden above price

there were many colourful flowers and wonderful green trees

when you walked around it

you were in the best of mood and spirit

It was easy to keep in mind you have told me

so far

the landscape still unfold before me

when you were surrounded by all the gorgeous sights

the scenery was too beautiful for words

you felt that was a pity that I missed the great place

I will never forget what you said

introducing the special garden to me

how happy you were

you gave a very interestiong account of what had happened

the first view appeared was a exceptional room

everything there was made of bamboo

when you opened the door

you saw me sitting on the chair

you ran to me and calling my name amazed

......

I knew you preferred landscape to still life

I thought you pictured to me

was an oil painting of a landscape in spring

when I said that was what you imagained

you drew a picture of the house

so I knew what it looked like

in a moment

you held my hands

and swore you would take me to have a look

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
