Array ( [sid] => 142048 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => sic eunt fata hominum [time] => 2008-05-01 13:00:26 [hometext] => the title is latin, and a fairly common phrase at that. [bodytext] => How far we have gone to undo the great clandestine fears that come with the first thoughts of love that are woven deep within us in our naivety, in our innocence, and burrows deeper in the first breaths of desire—forged by the memory of a happier time— when it is that we are less innocent, and yet more naïve.

How far we have come, to find ourselves separate, and often times, alone. How far we have come, to wonder at the meaning of it all, and wonder at the point, but it comes that there is no point, and it comes that we grow older every day, and that we stop to think too often of the fear that clings to love, and we remember what we cannot do.

We forget the sensation, and we cling to the pleasures of our physical love, because we cannot face the darkness within our own hearts, and we cannot face the fear of what we could have had.

Sic eunt fata hominum.

Intriguing!!

"because we cannot face the darkness within our own hearts, and we cannot face the fear of what we could have had. "
This pulled at my heartstrings.....
