I was born to be a warrior. It is in my family’s blood
We have all been valiant warriors since the great flood
I worked and trained every day of my young life
Choosing to trust in my sword and never taking a wife

Many times having to protect the ground on which I stand
I could not even count the scores that have died by my hand
Harboring no fear from the massive armies that were faced
Instead, worshiping the strength with which I had been graced

Seeking to devastate anything that dare cross my path
One night I was destroyed as I soaked in my bath
A lovely maiden with whom I had physical pleasure and great joy
Informed me she was with child. My baby girl or a boy

Of all the battles and the foes I had in my lifetime to defeat
Who would have ever though I had been turned soft by hearing a baby’s heartbeat?
