I get to reminiscing
Of what never was
Of what could have been
Or what may just become

When I look inside
My mind full of memories
Of moments and time
People made me smile
I remember that laugh

But often I find
I remember not so good
Times when I could have
Been a better friend
Been a better person

Thats when memories
Have their way with my mind
No way that I can stop it
No way I'd even try
Rolling like a wheel
Going through every stop
Some say it could be over
But thats not what I want

Every now and then
I get to reminiscing
Of what never was
Of what could have been
Or what may just become

When I look inside
My mind full of memories
Of moments and time
People made me smile
I remember that laugh

But often I find

I can relate to this poem. Especially today because I was doing alot of thinking about a time in my life about 5 years ago. So, I could really relate to how you feel. Good poem.
