You came to me like the sunrise on a new summer’s day
Wanting to experience you in every possible way
Bright and warm you brought fresh life to my soul
To keep you near became my only goal

Spending the day on the beach and the eve in your bed
I could never tell all the thoughts flowing through my head
Molding with you set my heart on fire
Never have I felt such passion and desire

Kissing your lips sent a chill up my spine
Caressing your cheek and feeling your hair so fine
Making love with you was like heaven to me
When we had finished, I wondered how this could be.

Wanting it to never end I went right to sleep
Hoping this memory forever to keep
As many people find, things are not always as they seem
I awoke only to find that it was all a dream

Without dreams, what would our lives be like? Really dull I imagine. I know mine would... This was exceptionally beautiful. It could be my new favourite from Deadwriter....
Warm Hugs

Dreams can be so painful sometimes but I think we are better with them than without. Good write.
