I don’t want to look at your picture.
That, I am sure.
In order to move on, I must forget.
Sometimes I even wish we’d never met.
What would my life be like now if that had happened?
Would everything have worsened?
My love for you might have deepened.
So maybe what happened was meant to.
But now I can’t get over you.
You’ve moved on, found someone new.
And, sadly, I’m still holding on
Even though you’re gone.
I’m trying to find a way to let go.
Loving you was a big no-no.
I hide all your pictures; ignore you when I see you,
With that someone new.
Oh god, how I wish I could move on!
I’m such a moron.
How does one let go when all you want to do is hang on?
