Night is fast approaching and darkness sets in
I guess this is as good a place as any to begin
My intent is not to bore you through till the end
But when you finish I hope you will see I am a friend

When the skies grow black and I can emerge from my shell
It is the reprieve I get from my life in the daily Hell
I travel through the night touching souls as I go
Though many of the names and faces I never do get to know

Surviving each day understanding my desires
To calm the storms of many and extinguishing their fires
Through the day I must face demons of my own
To keeping them at bay has not been easier as I have grown

All night long I travel like a ghost
I have been to many places far beyond my coast
I am not telling you this to make you think I am a fool
Nor am I trying to make you think I am so cool

I just want you to know a little more
A simple way to kind of even the score
Next time I am there to lend a hand
Remember it is on the same ground that I stand

My friend, knowing you have your own battles to fight and yet you so willingly give of your time and efforts to help others, just proves what a special man you are... and what a caring, loving heart you have....
I hope that whatever you call your Hell would some day turn into a paradise for you...
Your friend, always...
Jenni

It takes someone special to still find measure in helping another when at times their life and heart may be hurting. Another beautiful write. I mirror Jen may your paradise rise from the turmoil.

Hugs

Michelle

We can only help others if we truely understand how they feel and you do. Thanks for the glimpse of who you are. Awesome post as always.
