Midnight at the Oasis

Spring or Fall, whatever the case is
It is midnight, at the oasis
The sky is clear and visually sharp
Each star on stage, with its own mark

A moon shone bright held to its place
Its’ beams reflect on a beautiful face
The crisp cool air holds a subtle bite
In tribute to this special night

Two lovers sure of their intent
Grateful of this time that’s spent
Tearful eyes may hold a trace
Lovers locked in deep embrace

And whisk of clouds that do their dance
Bear witness to this true romance
They make their way across the sky
Stopping time, as they go by

The lovers search each other’s eyes
Deep want felt, within their sighs
Two hearts entwined, in gentle rage
This lacks description on this page

Their moment here, was owed to fate
This night is over, now it’s late
But, before it is to be dismissed
They close it with, that special kiss
