Listen to what I tell you, very carefully.
You cannot just give up on your poetry,
Your work has always been quite classy.

There should always be some hope,
With life you must learn to cope.
Don't give up so easily I was told,
Don't let your writings get cold.

In yourself you must have faith,
Walk proudly through that open gate.
To yourself you must be true,
And great things will surely follow you.

You must have the courage to do,
What's best from your point of view.
Don't let men, to you dictate,
Never let them, your ego, deflate.

In your work, show your pride,
Always let your conscience be your guide.
Continue to write what's in your heart,
Make tonight a brand new start.

Never let go of your dreams,
Sometimes you just need to change your themes.
No matter how difficult things may get,
Writing is always the best outlet.

For your poetry, find the time.
Soon you'll be writing again in rhyme.
Your turning point could be tonight,
If you don't give up the fight.

These things were said to me by a little voice,
He assured me it would ultimately be my choice.
Tonight I made the decision to write once more,
My self-confidence, this voice did restore.

And your voice was right, beautiful poetry flows from those that use their voice as their muse. Great work. Keep it up.

I am so glad that little voice spoke to you that day. He needs to take his own advice also. Keep up the great work.

I really enjoyed this write. Many of us could take a lesson from this ... no matter how faint the voice may be ... always be true to you.

Peace
