No matter how high the mountain may seem We’ll reach the top Through all the frustration and bitter depression, You’ll always be true to me, Rescuing me as I fall into darkness. You’re the only one that can save me, You can save me from myself. Life has been full of oppression. Isolated and trapped within my own thoughts. Bottled up emotions causing such grief. You’ve set me free from my cage You’ve given me reason to live. I find myself without you at night, Discontent, alone and suffering, And I’m secretly falling apart. Knowing that you’re not here, Knowing that you’re not in my arms. I need you here, I need you in my life. Falling asleep with you makes my dreams come alive, And waking up next to you makes my heart skip a beat. You’ve killed the loneliness inside of me, You see through my scars, these imperfections.
