Toughened coat keeps tightly bound the story it contains
Exterior, far from decadent, seductive or unique
Yet nothing faked, no empty promise offered as a lure

Pages worn by the tick of time, now tinged with other hues
Faded words may melt with white, but life flows through the tale
I'm not the latest thriller to be thrust to public view
Nor prophecising pamphlet that advertises nought

To the casual observer I'm a ten a penny read
Will your eyes linger longer, make some sense upon the page?
Or will you chance to skim each paragraph without a care?
True meaning lost in sentences, that blind eyes cannot see

I am waiting to be discovered, written to be shared
For those that wish companion on a lazy afternoon
But do not choose to read because some other recommends
There's a novel personality here, within the Book of Me. awesome friend.
big huggs, smiles,
emy

This was great. Humble and honest.
What you see is what you get. I suspect you get more than you think you/'/re getting. I really like this.
