I’ve let my parents rule again
More and more lies; they’re full of *****
But still unable to get over it.

I reveled my inner being
But once again it’s left me fleeing
Back behind that locked door
Where I keep my demons, lies and more.

I built that wall for protection
From everything short of my reflection
But this door is breaking down
I can hear it creak with every sound.

Yes, I’m close to breaking
With every phone call I start shaking
I’m letting fear rule my life everyday
All because my family found out I’m gay.

One quick sound
And it’ll all turn upside down
I’ll be left as a black sheep
Once again hiding myself so deep.

So Father please forgive me, for I have sinned
I’ve let my parents rule once again
More and more lies; they’re full of *****
But I’m still unable to get over it. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 315 [topic] => 48 [informant] => happybunnyfan [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

I'm not gay but I have friends that are. Just I accept my friends as is so should your parents.
Unconditional luv is that way. The ones that judge you reguardless if they are your parents or who are the ones committing the big sin.
None of us has the right to judge you heart or mind.
Hang tuff friend.
Big huggs, luv, prayer for your parents,
emy

Be not afraid of who you are.
Just live your life to satisfy your soul.
You can do no better than to be yourself.
Trying to be someone else is truly a sin.

And Yes, I enjoyed your poem

I'm not gay, but I'm sure that nearly every family has a member that is. You must seek solice in yourself. If you love yourself, others will follow. This is not a rule of man, but that of God. Just be who you are and remember to treat others with dignity and respect , even though you may not at times be shown the same respect. Have faith, and carry on. Good writing by-the-way.
