Fingers pressing
Against the temples of my mind
Solace I cannot find
A photograph pressed to my chest
Tears stain the place
I lay my head to rest
This is my position of sadness
I escape reality
Into my grim fatality
Fists clenched
Wrists drenched
In all the love I've bled
Memories stained red
This is where I lay
Where I pray
Where I rest in pieces
As my body releases
Broken emotions
Twisted notions
Sinking
Thinking
About the things I cannot undo
Staring at the photograph of you
Still pressed to my chest
Just to be able to feel you near
Right here...
In my position of sadness. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 181 [topic] => 32 [informant] => bleedthelove [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )
