A couple of years ago I had a particularly good history teacher. One day in class, she lectured us on the insanity of how much stuff people think they can do. She painted a picture of future historians looking back at the many ads, blogs, and vanities of our time and being utterly astounded until they came to those commentaries that explained all of this.

It is my belief that these commentaries are possibly what keeps at least some part of our society sane. Thank you for yours.

I think you are totally wrong. I strongly believe that every person is capable of some sort of writing. Whether it be simple, or deeply detailed. You should re-think, your thinking.

May you see the light.

so blind. i'm not talking about the sentiments contained therein...i'm talking about the tools required to bring those sentiments (properly) to the page. for the record, the vast amount of writing that i see on the internet, happily passing itself off as "poetry", is put there with no sense of logic, talent or art...much less grammar or spelling.
