then why the hell do we pay so much for democracy

its like everywhere I look we have soldiers dying

And it isn't just about us they got civilians crying

Its like the fire rained down and cant nobody control it

And you package it and wrap it but I doubt that you sold it

but you bought it

cause that taught it

And the world s broken hearted

and the countries everywhere looking at us like started it

And it ain't just about the presidency of this nation

Folks need to stand up stop being so patience

Let your voice ring out in love or jubilation

it really don't matter just move from your station

Let people know that your here and you care

And they can push, pull, and tug you aint going nowhere

You can look but don't stare

Feel the wind in your hair

And I'll meet you in a peaceful place cause I'm there

trading Flowers for these bombs

And schools for napalms

And pray for forgiveness for blowing off the arms

of those that do no harm

Cause man this damn karma

Sure can bring drama

And it can be unrelated like losing your momma

to something like cancer, Aids not Osama

whats crazy is how folks care more about Madonna

Paparazzi pictures Paris in the sauna

Access Hollywood receives TV's top honors

I feel embarrassed

To live this lavish

I visited a family that for months ate cabbage

they still had love

not just filled the sabbath

we could all learn something if we do the math [comments] => 1 [counter] => 199 [topic] => 65 [informant] => allidoiswrite82 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => toughstuff )
