Yet by the light we fall too late
A dark and sinister liquid grace
That feeds on man and his need to hate
Your thoughtful soul is lost inside your face
And to find its path is to follow its fate
In the dark the worm quickens in pace
Its dread lost inside at any rate

To find what you will discover in this place
yet to let the light in to late
A strange and somewhat sickened grace
That lets one fall victim to its lusting hate
Your unknown deeds lurk upon your face
And weave entwined in your fate
In your chest the heart loses pace
It is to die that men do highly rate

to die for glory, grace or as a martyr is mans greatest and least attained wish. So why does man cling like ivy to life and all that befalls it...? Nice place to visit.... but don't stay here ....so much lovelier things to write about.
