The Rescue

A void resides within
Empty hollow that echoes silence
On Isolations lap
I perch in need of something
Waiting,
Wanting,
Parched lips thirst
for the fountain of peace
Hungering for acceptance's
boastful nourishment
Alone,
Wandering,
Solace plays hide-n-seek
with my yearning soul
It evades, escaping my hearts grasp
I am a prisoner of one
Tears,
Fall,
Warm embrace of light shatters
Suffocating the dark
Sensory awakened
Rescued by the hero in the light
You,
Arrive,
Curiosity writes my actions
My eyes catch beautiful imagery
I see you
In you,
I see me.
We,
Escape.

First off i love the author's note, and the rest
is most compelling, such intensity in a firm
yet fragile way of conveying your inner self to all. What a lovely peice of writting this is and
you are a magnificent poet. Take care . . .
