People oft spend their lives as a critic would,

Viewing life as a performance, judging bad or good.

Seemingly first looking for mistakes and failures.

Missing beauty and successes, in life encounters.

Choosing rather to see us on stage as actors.

In constantly critiquing one can lose perspective,
When time spent in thoughts is mostly pensive.
Unable simply to..... just be forgiving
those that share our course in living.
Minimizing then the entire point of life,
when one dwells on naught but strife.

If the traveler be too judgmental,
A life's meaning then be inconsequential.

There are those that chose to see but failures .

There are those would rather see human treasures.

So much life is lost in just fault finding,

is occasional forgiveness not a reasoned asking?

If you see the lines and creases in an old face,
yet miss the character of its base.

If you hear but sour notes from the rain,
and not music from the whistling train,

If critical judgment then be your quest.
You goal of life has failed the test

This is awesome! A magnificent way to shine a light on this all-too-well-missed subject. A realization i hope will be spread throughout the world.
This poem is well written, has a mostly flawless flow throughout it and leaves the reader with a different way of looking at life.
Great writing from a obviously talented Author.

Keep up the great work, and think about publishing!!!
