[hometext] => A dark poem about not going down without a fight... ever.
[bodytext] => I tore my heart out and threw it down Upon the table-top. Blood letting, trickling across the surface, Still pumping without stop. I looked the demon in the eye and told it With a grin: "Its yours, you fool, but will do you no good With the shape that I am in." It's bony hand reach slowly forth. Fingers wrapping 'round. I quickly snatched its wrist, pulled, and sneered: "Guess who owns you now?" With that I thrust the remaining heart Deep into its chest. Its eyes went black, jaw went slack, My blood dripping from its breast Slowly then its dying carcass Slid back into its seat. Now with a heart its life was ending. Just as I, without, had death to greet. Yes, maybe I had sold my soul, But I wasn't without a will. Though eternally damned I may be Rest assured I'll be fighting still.
