And protect me

From the high part of the
Day

Your branches leafless in
In the winter's sun

But, can I rest beneath
Your branches of skeleton
Frame.

Through the gusty wind
That blow so strong

Winter cold wind

Even thou the sunshine is
High

The color is gray

The moon is rising

With a icy smile

The hostile wind is

Blowing with vengeance

Looking for retribution
Will you

Cover me with your skeleton
Fingers

Hide me from that angry wind

Clashing with that frosty moon

Cold, freezing cold

I’ll make me a home within

The layer of your wood to keep
Me warm

Until spring blossom's out and
All
Love bloom's in may

To
Blossom in June and end in
July

Even the tree’s sprout’s out
Again to become anew

With bloom's ablaze in the spring
A coming

Blossom with a beauty of a deep
Rich green hue

Cover me within your walls so my off
Springs may grow

Warm and cuddley my off spring's
Grow for our new generation

Cover me from the icy angry wind
Blowing on me

On and around me

I don’t wanna freeze and snap, pop
And crack

I wanna to be cover and warm where
My wings will grow.. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 210 [topic] => 43 [informant] => honey56 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

As in warmth my fingers tell all,Accept to owe or recieve I be there in every fall.Watch the outward or the point of wich way,My love to you in many forms you can pay.Devotion love and warmth just for one night,Rumores of me no reason to fright. The color is correct reflections only of my ship,As the moon reflects the lighthouses may you R.I.P. My boat or ship is like a blanket if two lay together,Protection and total bliss from all types of weather.Spring seems dead to thoes around me ,My love to you is nothing more than the body of sea.My frame you can hold please try not start,The anger rages as total never to part. The sides of my ship have color of green,Years of knowledge and what I have seen. You will allways have comfort but not as though you want,You will allways be warm and passionate sourounded by my cloke, my threads, and it will hunt.My wings as though I open my cloke(sp?),To pay or recieve this is no joke.Great Poem:Cover Me:Comment From The Grim Reaper,DevilsPriest KnownAs LORD,Denver L. I don't like cold windy days as they cause me pain. Reading this poem, I could feel the cold reach through the words, making me shiver and ache. Very good write. I guess I need to go take a warm bath to get rid of the chill. God Bless! I would love to chat with you some time.

You put the reader right in the place where they can feel the wind trying to engulf you, yet the sun is managing to shine through, as it did through your words. What a joy to read.
