The light shines through the trees and no longer "white" in hue, it is golden.
The wind that blows here no longer whispers but entices with seductive words of truth.
I travel my forest and my lungs breath in essence of life and I awaken,
What rain has fed this forest? What nourished decay has fed it? What solar magic has found its way here?
What ever the magic my forest is now enchanted and I scarce feel my footprints leaving their mark.

The creatures of my forest take human form.
They do not run from me but take shelter among the trees and beckon me to join them.
They speak a language so musical and the colours of their winged forms are effervescent tones that blind me.
I enter among them and the warmth throughout my physical being intoxicates me.
Nowhere have I felt such life force.

We travel through the paths and visit flowers that haven't fully bloomed and as we touch each blossem they open and become spectacular in their beauty.
We touch the trunks of giant trees and are infused with wisdom beyond all time.
I am overwhelmed at what is happening and tears of joy fill my eyes as I sit to say my prayer of gratitude to my universe.
My eyes open and I read more words from the angels of my forest.

Blessed am I to have access to you all. Love Needledancing. To the best year ever! Ahhh, yes... I've had those moments as well. Those everything-is-right-with-the-world moments are fabulous and yes, yes, yes! there is magic here. Intoxicating? You bet... and our addiction to it, is why so many of us seem to never ever go away.

Thank you for reminding me to stop and... count the roses every now and again. *winks*

Feeding the habit,
~Snemmy

and blessed are we for you, EnDi. A forest is most certainally composed of all of it's trees, and you are most definately one. As "enchanted" a write as I have yet read today.

What a perfect read to lift oneself up into an appreciation for all things. Your joy for life is infectious and dazzling, and it makes me wish I could have spent more time on here recently, finding peace in your wonderful forest.
Happy New Year to you ND!

Dom

My dearest ND and fellow Northerner. I have but one word for this ... breathtaking. And so absolutely so. You
wrap words in such beauty and dream-like silkiness that the hardest of hearts couldn't NOT be affected by them.

You have whisked yourself into our hearts in times past, but this is so incredibly topical and fulfilling. Every poet,
(I don't care who they are), wants ..no needs their work to be read. There is a necessity in just writing
down thoughts, but when someone actually gets it, gets the poet, well it's just damn comforting in a validating sort
of way.

Thank you for this, sweets. It is one of the warmest, most precious pieces I've read in a while. Lucky, us,
I say, to have you to read as well. :)

Have a WONDERFUL FANTABULOUS year!! (It IS going to be wondrous- I can tell. *wink*)

*hugs, peace and love*

~Breezy

Such beautiful words that just naturally form together to come up with something intoxicating, that you have to carry on reading. I can see your forest in my mind and it is a beautiful, restful, soulful place to be. I envy you.
