Array ( [sid] => 13962 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Crucifixion's Chant [time] => 2003-03-08 22:20:00 [hometext] => This poem was originaly written to be a chant / African slave spiritual type of song. I came up with the tune one day while in prayer, and then the words came. If you take the first two lines of each, and say them twice then it will be close to what was originaly written. Hope you enjoy! [bodytext] => I come before you Lord
Black from the dirt oh Lord
Black from my sin oh Lord
Black from my sin

You take your feet oh Lord
And with a nail oh Lord
You walk to me oh Lord
You walk to me

You take your hands oh Lord
And with two nails oh Lord
You wash me clean oh Lord
You wash me clean

You take your brow oh Lord
And with pierced flesh oh Lord
You wear my crown oh Lord
You wear my crown

You take your body Lord
And you take my sin oh Lord
You take my death oh Lord
You take my death

You take my nails oh Lord
You take my crown oh Lord
You take my cross oh Lord
You take my cross

The repetition is neat. You consider recording some sort of audio tape of it?
