And I roam this world with broken bones
Solitude has turned me cold
Like a child without a home
Unknown and out of control
A misplaced angel with a tortured soul
Shattered eyes and blood red tears
Now a crimson river over all these years
Crossed out dreams and faded stars
See my flesh, I count my years in scars
Why such sadness?
Why such a dark poem?
Because this is the only emotion I've ever known
The only thing I've ever been shown
Like a bad dream with no ending
Forever decending
I am always caught falling
But you can't hear me calling
Because I scream for you in hollow tones
And I can't hold on with broken bones
So I'll continue to fall astray
Turn my back and walk away
Because this is truth as it could best be told
Inside my lonley empire of solitude
And this heart turned cold. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 255 [topic] => 48 [informant] => bleedthelove [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 18 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

some of this reminded me of something evanescence might do for lyrics (when they arent singing about drunk boyfriends). you had some excellent word choices, rhymes, and lines throughout this. you have a lot of potential, and right now you only seem to be at the beginning of it. keep up the great work.
