and I saw you, your face like it was back then...
When the remembrance of your smile
brought hope to everyday
and your sweet voice
healed every pain.

When my world revolved around you
and I was your Moon,
deeply in love with a rose so sweet
that many times I'd fallen at your feet.

I awoke with a lovesick feeling,
the kind of pain that never resides;
inside I was screaming
and tears almost fell from my eyes.

But I remembered where it all did end
when my love was left but as words
on the internet.

Everything changed and we had grown apart,
like an aborted baby before birth,
all I wanted to say was: "I am sorry"
and that you should live everyday to the fullest
and never forget... I loved you.

Sterkte!! Moet nooit ophou glo en bid nie.
Totsiens Schalk
