I'm back home again after all these years,
A place I love to be,
A time of rest and repair,
A shore in the often stormy sea.
My Mother is steady and strong,
Like a great Redwood tree,
She knows Jesus, and right from wrong,
And somehow...
Yes somehow...
I still belong.
My father doesn't talk alot,
And thats all right with me,
He went to war a little boy,
And came back a man you see,
The rest of my family is a wreck right now,
Why can't we all just be friends,
When it comes down to our last days,
The love of our family is what matters in the end.

It's a great start to your journey on YPDC.
Hope you enjoy it and continue to write as you have begun
