I was lost inside
I couldn't find my way
Oh how I tried to break free
From my mind's prison
I was trapped in depression
Couldn't see anything good
I was crying, oh how I was dying
Inside I felt so gone
Nothing was ever right
No one seemed to tell
Force a smile, Fake a laugh
How easily they are fooled
They couldn't see that all I wanted
Was someone to notice
To help, to care
I know it was my fault
I should have made it easier
I should have asked for help
But now I see who really cares
And it wasn't him
