[hometext] => I met a guy while working and he inspired me to write this poem. He was recently jumped in an alley and beaten up all because he was defending his gay friends.
[bodytext] => A perfectly good life, with much to look forward to, ended because of being different.
A happy, positive person Suddenly beaten up because he's not like everyone else. A driver, stone cold drunk, gets behind the wheel, another is dead. Angry people taking the lives of others. Guns, knives, bombs, then blood. Will it ever end for good?
