Not all people with sight can see. [bodytext] => Hole in my soul
So sad and depressed.
But no one notices,
The caring words die slowly.
Blind people walk through life,
Oblivious to the dying around them.
Wasting away to nothing
Body and mind alike.
Sorrowful cries fill the air,
Calling for help when they dare.
Screams of injustice burst out
Answering prayers filled with doubt.
Crying mothers, their sons have died.
Drug addictions, they have lied.
City life, a deadly fate
Country deaths, found too late.
Father hiding, wiping his tears,
Sons are gone, facing their fears.
Wars are fought, people are dying,
Families at home, uncontrollably crying.
Struggling to survive, giving a small nod,
Trying to fill the holes shaped like God. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 252 [topic] => 32 [informant] => flamingblade [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 13 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

You explore the deep dark hidden portions of people's lives that are filled with grief, addictions, and losses. It is very sad indeed of what sometimes people are reduced to. This poem is very thought provoking.

Happy Holidays
