Even when the world looks so crowded
My hungry eyes search for you
It’s my heart searching for a heartbeat
My eyes despise all thoughts of you

This lively soul will want to keep you
My vision impaired for its light
A blink in your thought ought to be eternity
My darkness never changes bright

These feet tremble at a simple thought
But a killer kills and lover loves best
A swift surge of emotions is all it takes
But we pass the bridge that takes our test

In every sense we will prevail
This life goes on with your heartbeat
It’s not death that I fear that is inevitable
It’s my body’s fear of not feeling your heat.

Sweetest heart

Even when the world looks so crowded
My hungry eyes search for you
It’s my heart searching for a heartbeat
My eyes despise all thoughts of you

This lively soul will want to keep you
My vision impaired for its light
